Ube (African Pear) is a hypoallergenic fruit with an indigo-coloured covering over a greenish pulp and a firm seed inside. It contains carbohydrates, fat (no cholesterol), and vitamins (C, B1, B6, Folate, and Niacin). Minerals also present include – Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium, Phosphorous, Iron, and zinc.
