Some of the winery’s notable vineyards include: Trittenheimer Apotheke, situated on a particularly steep and steep bend in the Mosel, this vineyard benefits from heat- storing Devonian slate soils, with a slope of up to 65%; Neumagener Rosengärtchen, this vineyard faces southwest and is known for its clay slate and weathered stone soils, which give the Rieslings their unmistakable floral aromas; and Piesporter Goldtröpfchen, almost surrounding the town of Piesport, this site is shaped like an amphitheatre, protecting the grapes from the wind and channelling heat. Its Devonian slate soils give these wines a mineral complexity.
