Description Maddies / Harbour Ragworm – 1 lb Fresh Maddies (Harbour Rag / Reds) are a popular bait for flatfish such as flounder, mullet, sole, and plaice. These smaller ragworms are the cousins of King Ragworms, growing to just 1–3 inches, and are often used in bunches to attract fish. Maddies are perfect for tipping with other baits like squid or mackerel to make them even more irresistible. A pound contains approximately 300 worms, ideal for size 4, 6, or 8 Aberdeen hooks, and work well on flapper or clipped rigs. Collection & Storage: Dug to order—please allow a couple of days’ notice for collection. Can be stored in a fridge at 50°F for up to 5 days in paper with sea peat or vermiculite.
