'Fragmentis' is a series of mixed-media sculptures by Masao Rong that reimagine traditional lacquer techniques in a contemporary context. Using reclaimed wood from century-old buildings, the works preserve natural weathering while introducing smooth, reflective finishes. Abstracted from architectural remnants, the forms explore themes of impermanence, transformation, and decay.
